Dulcie has 18 years of healthcare industry experience in the areas of Revenue Cycle and Health Information
Management (HIM). During her time as a healthcare consultant with PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC), she assisted over 50 different hospitals in streamlining and enhancing their charge capture processes, many of which involved enterprise-wide transformations and IT migrations. As the Director of Revenue Integrity for Children’s National Hospital, she had oversight of 5 mid-cycle workstreams: Audit and Education, Coding Operations, Charge Capture/Charge Description
Master (CDM), Charge Reconciliation, and HIM for both the Facility and Professional sides of the business. She was the first in that title for Children’s and built the Revenue Integrity Department from the ground up. More recently, Dulcie has worked with large health systems providing integral support to both their Revenue Integrity Departments as well as their Central Business Offices. She has led various projects centered around helping all parts of the revenue cycle to communicate and collaborate, resulting in the establishment of proactive strategies to produce cleaner claims and decrease denials.
